Welcome to Do5K.com — my charity page created in honor of my son, AJ, and to raise awareness for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH).

Spending time running gives you a lot of time to think. Mile after mile, I kept coming back to the same thought — it was time to create this site. Time to turn the miles into something bigger.

AJ was born on June 14, 2011 with CDH. I had never even heard of it before his birth. His strength continues to inspire me every single day.

I try to complete at least four races each year in his honor. So far, I’ve completed 10 races — and I’m just getting started.

Whether it’s a:

• 10K
• Half Marathon
• Full Marathon

You can always Do5K — at your own pace, in your own way.
