Arizona really put on a great event this year! It was the 50th anniversary race, and everything felt incredibly well organized. Parking was easy, the race prep area was smooth and accessible, and there were plenty of restrooms and sponsors on site. Overall, it was a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.

I’ll be honest — my training wasn’t where it should have been, and the results always reflect that. But that’s part of the journey. Not every race is about a personal best. Sometimes it’s about showing up and finishing.

This was my last race of the year, so now I’m already looking ahead and searching for new races for next year to stay motivated and keep pushing forward.
